I came across this rather good book, Magnum Landscape, earlier this year and I managed to find a second hand copy on ebay. It’s a wonderful book, on the small side, 9 x 6 in but with the images printed on high quality on semi-gloss heavy weight paper. It probably stretches the definition of ‘Landscape but it does contain some great images in both mono and colour. Some of the highlights for me were wonderful wide vistas by Ernst Haas, evocative images by Bruno Barbey, including a shot of Dades Valley, I have to admit I had not come across him before. There are also some interesting, almost minimal photos by Raymond Depardon.

It challenges the notion of what is a landscape but in a way that would introduce more creativity into your photography. Highly reccomended.
