Morocco Photo Academy

Together with a selection of online courses specialising in tailored exercises, project development, evaluation and mentoring, since 2010 I have successfully run photo workshops and tours from the Academy base in Morocco.  The location photo workshops at their core, are an extension of how I approach the courses,  particularly in-depth reviewing offering invaluable feedback, developing your photography practice by seeing photo opportunities and improving composition.  You’ll also be looking at the best historical and contemporary photography introducing you to new photographic inspiration and refreshing how you approach your personal image-making.

I also run year-round Morocco Photo Tours for guests comfortable with their cameras. These ‘soft adventure’ tours combine a mix of people and place photography allowing you to experience the best locations and meet local people to craft opportunities for portraits and situational photography. More than 600 guests have attended workshops and Morocco tours with me.

Allied with qualified teacher status, I have 10 years of experience teaching in the UK and was a director cameraman in UK television and filmmaking. My personal photography has been published internationally. Browse the site for the next stage in your journey.
