For the purposes of the following, the term ‘workshop’ includes, tours, retreats, holidays and trips as promoted within the site.
Booking Fee
A 25% booking fee of the total location workshop cost is required at the time of booking. For online courses full payment is required ahead of the start date.
Balance Due Date
The balance of a location workshop is due 4 weeks before the start date. Should payment not be made in time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. If a booking is made 4 weeks before the start date then the full amount is due at the time of booking.
Cancellations
If for any reason you cancel a workshop after you have settled the balance you must notify us via email. The cancellation comes into effect upon receipt of the written notification from you and the following cancellation charges will be charged:
Less than 4 weeks before the start date – 50% of the total amount.
Less than 2 weeks before start date – 75% of the total amount.
Less than 1 week before start date – 100% of the total amount.
Online courses can be cancelled before the start date with no charged incurred. In this instance, full refunds are available. Once a course begins, then no refunds are available.
Alterations from our side
Cancellations will take place only due to extreme or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation a full refund will be offered. In the unusual case of insufficient numbers to profitably run a workshop then you will be offered an alternative date, an adjusted price or a full refund. Group numbers are available at the time balance payments are due. Creative Camera makes every effort to ensure that groups sizes are sufficient before accepting full payment. Please note that we cannot refund flight costs in the event of a cancellation.
Travel Insurance
The contract between us includes the term that you must have travel insurance to cover personal accident and injury as well as repatriation costs. The insurance must also cover the loss and expenses arising from the cancellation of a workshop through Force Majeure or in the event of personal circumstances.
FORCE MAJEURE is the unusual and unforeseeable circumstance beyond the control of a supplier such threat of war, riots, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, level of water in rivers, or other similar events beyond our control. In such cases we are not able to pay compensation should our contractual obligations be prevented, or you suffer any damage or injury or loss as a result of Force Majeure.
For the case of Covid 19 or similar, in the event of cancellation due to government restrictions requiring quarantine you will be entitled to an alternative workshop date.
Responsibilities
We accept responsibility for ensuring that the workshop arrangements you book with us are supplied as described but sometimes the itinerary or accommodation may change. Furthermore we cannot accept responsibility for any services that do not form part of our contract such as the use of a guide, even if we recommend them. It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport and vaccinations are up to date. We do not accept responsibility or liability for death or injury caused during the workshop unless arising from a negligent act and/or omission from an employee of Creative Camera.
Non EU residents should check visa requirements with their consulate, and obtain one if necessary. Residents of the United Kingdom do not require a visa but should have a full 10 year British passport with at least 6 months remaining from the date of your return home.
